Right now we are in a period of incredible change in the publishing industry. From writers to readers, this change impacts every person involved in the publishing industry. Publishing's digital revolution means new players are involved with publishing and selling books, new business models are being tried, and new opportunities for reaching readers are available to authors and booksellers. This presentation discusses the various changes happening in the industry while looking at ways creative people and companies are facing publishing's unpredictable future.

Kassia Krozser consults with publishers about digital publishing opportunities at Oxford Media Works, and writes about current digital publishing trends at booksquare.com. She is a passionate advocate for readers and has a lot to say about where reading writing and publishing is headed. Her trip to Australia is supported by if:book.
