Trusted Information Sharing Network

The Trusted Information Sharing Network (TISN) was set up by the Australian Attorney-General's Department so businesses could share information on protection of critical infrastructure, with each other and with government. While communications is one area the TISN addresses, curiously information technology does not appear to be considered critical infrastructure. ICT would seem more critical than the postal services, and the lack of mention of the Internet appears a serious oversight.

There are Sector Groups on:

  1. banking and finance
  2. communications
  3. energy
  4. food chain
  5. health
  6. transport, and
  7. water services
