Approx 40 Danish companies within the sectors of Smart Cities, Renewable Energy, and Food & Food Technology are participating in the delegation, which will visit Sydney and Melbourne from 21-24 November 2011. The business delegation will also include a cultural component. The purpose of the delegation is to promote both Denmark and Danish businesses in Australia as well as cooperation and partnership between Australian and Danish businesses.
The objective behind this business delegation is to create a unique opportunity and environment where knowledge sharing, sustainable thinking and reflections and future business cooperation are discussed. Furthermore, it is intended to convert successful Danish achievements into an Australian context based on local demand. The concept is based on a series of business and cultural events with the purpose of promoting Denmark and Danish businesses as well as cooperation and partnership with Australian businesses. The 4-day program will include sector specific seminars (in both Sydney and Melbourne), individual business-to-business (B2B) meetings, site visits and official business lunches and dinners.
The Danish business delegation is organised by the Royal Danish Embas¬sy in Canberra and the Trade Council of Denmark in Sydney in cooperation with key industry associations in Denmark.

Danish Environmental Industry Delegation to Australia
The Danish Government has announced the Bright Green Denmark trade visit to Australia 21 to 24 November 2011. Included will be people from businesses in Smart Cities and Renewable Energy. Australia-born Crown Princess Mary will accompany the delegation.
