Brisbane Festival West End Live
When collected from the airport by friends always make sure you are wearing stout shoes. Having arrived in Brisbane for the World Computer Congress 2010, I found all this week was the Brisbane Festival. Thinking I would get a quiet coffee a few streets away from the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre today, instead I found West End Live, with a street party, several bands and thousands of revellers. Amongst this crowd a voice said: "Tom! I was about to visit Canberra and was trying to contact you.".
