Cotton Club Sydney

Greetings from the recreated Cotton Club Sydney with The Fabulous Jazz Babies in the former St Laurence School Hall (now the Actors College of Theatre & Television) in central Sydney, near central station. For the evening,  Jillian Bonham's Music Practice class of 2013 demonstrated their musical talents before a live audience with a three piece band. Some of the audience, as well as the performers, got into the spirit of things by dressing in early 20th Century costume. I simply swapped the cravat for a black bow tie on my Toulouse-Lautrec outfit. It was interesting how few people seemed to notice someone walking through Sydney with top hat and cane. The event was in aid of  St Laurence House.
