Sydney Park is located near Newton to the south of the Sydney CBD. Sydney Park Kiosk is a new, modest, but architecturally significant building in the centre of the park. If you like dogs, this is a pleasant place to have coffee. The park is former industrial land and features buildings from a former brickworks. Currently the brickworks buildings are being used for the 20th Kaldor Public Art Project, "The Sound of Red Earth", a sound sculpture by Stephen Vitiello. Three kiln buildings are used for three parts of the work: "Water", "Air" and "Earth".
