Blended Delivery Expo

A Blended Delivery Expo will be held at the Ian Ross Seminar Room, College of Engineering and Computer Science, the Australian National University, Canberra, 2:00pm, 16 August 2010.

The ANU is training up its engineering and IT staff (including me) on how to teach engineering using a combination of face to face classes and online tools. This is being funded by the Australian Government under a program announced by the then Minister for Education, Julia Gillard, 11 December, 2008.

You have heard of the Hubs and Spokes project, and blended delivery of courses, but what does it really mean? In this talk we'll take a look through the design of blended delivery courses run so far under the Hubs and Spokes project, and also at the courses under development for delivery in 2011.
Kim Blackmore is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering, Coordinator of the CECS Flexible Learning Unit, and leader of the Hubs and Spokes subproject in blended delivery.
