Aldi is advertising that a
7" Colour eBook Reader will be on sale in their stores for $79 from 11 August 2011.This has a LCD screen (not e-ink like some readers) so will be less readable outdoors. 800 x 480 pixel screen, 2GB memory and an Micro SD card slot. It can read PDF, TXT, EPUB, CHM, RTF and HTMLfil;es (what versions of HTML is not stated) and MP3, WMA music files. The unit has a small keyboard and set of navigation keys, rather than a touch screen. This appears similar to the
