Greetings from the
Transitioning to Digital Recordkeeping conference in Canberra. I am chairing the opening morning of the conference and then speaking on
Records in the Cloud tomorrow morning. The hash tag for the conference is
#digitaltrans and I have invited the audience to discuss the topics on-line.
Some issues so far:
- Common recordkeeping standards where activities span government and non-government sectors, such as education.
- Common Australian and NZ standards? An example could be Australia adopting the Cloud Computing Code of Practice from Institute of IT Professionals NZ.
- What perspective are systems built from?
- Should government RMS be centralized?
