GovJam Opening in Canberra

Greetings from the Inspire Centre at the University in Canberra where Senator Lundy opened GovJam, a global event looking at new ways to do government online. This followed GovCamp today and GovHack on the weekend. The "Jam" is the most informal of the events, with some group activities to free up the participant's thinking. There is a secret "theme" for the event (which you will have to find out by joining in online). The Global Headquarters is here in Canberra, but there are also local events in: Brisbane, Katherine, Paris, Köln (Cologne), Thessaloniki, Tehran, Milan, Bilbao, Madrid and London.
