The book "High Speed Trains
" by Peter Clark, might be better titled "High Speed Trains of the World and Some Slower Ones in Australia". The book gives a brief history of high speed trains from the days of steam through to the present. It then lists examples of high speed trains, but surprisingly includes some Australian examples. Details are also given of the various proposals for very high speed services in Australia.
