Professor Reg Coutts, a member of the Government’s Broadband Panel of Experts will give a free talk on "The National Broadband Network: New Ways of Working" at NICTA in Canberra, 5:30PM, 14 October 2009. This follows the "Focus Forum on 2009 Telecommunications Reform Package" at NICTA the same day, where I will be speaking. The National Broadband Network has implications for the telecommunications and broadcasting industry and changes will be needed if the community is to get an economic and social return on this large investment.
