Scorpène class submarine for Australia

Four stretched Scorpène class submarines are being built for Brazil. These have a 9 metre hull stretch for longer range. The submarines are a French design in conjunction with and Spanish Navantia . This is the same company making Australian warships, providing the possibility of work on a further expanded Australian submarine.
