WiMax for NSW Smart Grid

Energy Australia, the NSW Government owned electricity distributor, has issued a Request for Tender for Supply of 4G Wireless Network hardware, Software Services. EnergyAustralia intends to rollout of a WiMax 802.16e and LTE compliant network in 2011. The network for M2M communications for a Smart Grid program.
