The
UK Government Service Design Manual has been issued by the UK Cabinet Office. This sets out
four phases for services: Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live. While being very clear (and making use of graphics), the manual is somewhat cryptic and also lacking in important metadata. In particular the manual does not explain who or what type of services it is provided for, when it was released, which version it is or who is responsible for it.
