ICT Energy Reduction at University of Sydney

Nicola Hogan, from the UK SUSTE-TECH project will talk about ICT Energy Reduction by Universities, at the University of Sydney, 4th October 2011.

Nicola is the the Sustainable ICT Project Manager for the SUSTE-TECH Project at the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC). SUSTE-TECH is a UK Government funded project (JISC), which aims to measure and reduce energy use of ICT systems in universities.

Learn about the user friendly carbon accounting, Suste-IT tool and how it calculates energy use, carbon emissions and cost savings.

Hear about JISC’s other Greening of ICT projects that are leading the way in which technology is used in an effort to help end users become more sustainable.
