Register Hardware reports Asus will launch its desktop version of the Eee PC at Computex in Taipei on 3 June 2008. This will be known as the Ebox, not the previous E-DT. The unit is said to have a 160GB hard drive, as well as 2GB of RAM. The hard disk would be unfortunate, as the EEE PC's lack of one was a feature, not a problem.
Yeah -- adding a HD rather misses the point. It loses the novelty value, and makes it another (but similar) model, rather than just a desktop version of the "eee".
