Not Wasted at the Sydney Festival

Greetings from day one of the Sydney Festival. I avoided Florentijn Hofman’s Rubber Duck at Darling Harbor and instead attended the opening of Song Dong's Waste Not (物尽其用, Wù jìn qí yòng) at the Carriageworks. This shows the contents of the artist's mother's Beijing house. What was curious was how many of the objects are familiar.

Upcoming is "Kunst Rock"  rock’n’roll cabaret,  January 11-12 10.30pm

ps: Less fun was being overcharged $1 at the bar of Carriageworks.
