Sahana Open Source Emergency Software Deployed for Hurricane Sandy

The Sahana Software Foundation is assisting the City of New York with open source software for relief operations required by Hurricane Sandy. Other government and non-government agencies requiring software can contact the Foundation.

The Sahana software was originally developed for the 2004 Asian Tsunami and has been used in humanitarian operations around the world since then.

While the Sahana team has sufficient technical support for the current operations, further technical support and donations are always welcome.

ps: I am a member of the Sahana Software Foundation.
